We have dedicated our whole working lives to teaching and since starting the business in 2016, our wealth of knowledge and experience has continued to grow. We have over 40 years combined teaching experience within a vast array of schools, primary, secondary and more recently in Special Educational Needs. We have both spent time working in various special schools throughout the last few years.

Our experience working within our special schools, gives us a unique insight into the nature of work required and the qualities staff need to fulfil successful placements within these schools.

Top Up Teachers work within a number of special schools which all have very individual and specific requirements. We understand how the needs of each school are very complex, so we ensure that we visit every school and their classes to understand the ethos and essential expectations before placing staff within those schools.

Our personalised approach has become very successful, for both the school and staff we work with. As a result of our strategic and careful staff placement, a number of our staff have then succeeded to secure permanent contracts within the schools. This success demonstrates the understanding and knowledge we have, which can only come from our vastly experienced background within the education sector.

As a family run business, we have provided opportunities for our eldest daughter to work within schools, while training to become a teacher. Through her experiences, she has also developed a love for working within the Special Educational Needs sector. It is a pleasure to impart our passion for nurturing children’s educational future to those at the start of their teaching career.
